I have many different types of clinics within the NHS hospitals… In all my clinics it is the most common question.
You might be moving house, you might have a new job or you might have lots of stress at the time. You wonder whether it is the best time to start sleep therapy at that point in your life…
The reality is: there is no best time to start sleep therapy.
I once did a documentary with Channel 4 and we had to treat patients in front of many different cameras and people. It’s quite a stressful environment and yet we still manage to do it.
If you’re going through something that is unusual in your life, perhaps wait until later, but otherwise carry on.
